The role requires an active LPN license in the state, BLS, and preferred experience with EPIC EHR. Telemetry units may require additional certifications; 36-hour weekly schedule with 7p–7:30a shifts and every third

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of employment.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required for specialty areas.
• 1 year of clinical patient care experience preferred.
• EPIC EHR training preferred.
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia class may be required for Telemetry units.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, provide skilled nursing care and administer medications.
• Participate in nursing process with data collection, planning, and evaluation.
• Gives direct nursing care and assists with patient care under supervision.
• Contributes to the care plan with input from patient/family.
• Perform data collection, observation, and coordination of referrals.
• Document objective and subjective patient data and care updates.
• Administer treatments and medications within scope of practice.
• Perform phlebotomy services and monitor patient responses.
• Report significant changes and revise plans as needed.
• Comply with HIPAA/OSHA and infection control procedures.
