Job summary

Rockhill Orthopaedics is seeking an LPN to contribute to orthopedic patient care in a fast-paced clinic. The nurse will support providers and nursing staff with pre-visit planning, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, EMR use, and documentation.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate charting, and collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Eligible candidates are licensed in Missouri and hold BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• MO LPN license required; BLS certification.
• Experience in orthopedic setting preferred; EPIC experience desired.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners with patients; escort to rooms, take vital signs, educate patients.
• Discuss scheduled tests and results with patients per physician guidance.
• Respond to patient questions and coordinate with healthcare team.
• Document care in patient medical records accurately.
• Assist provider with examinations and in-office procedures.
• Ensure patient information is ready for the provider before clinic.
