Responsibilities

• First assist in the operating room for primary and revision orthopedic procedures.
• Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient evaluations.
• Perform inpatient rounding and manage postoperative care with the surgeon.
• Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care.
• Provide patient education on surgical preparation, recovery, and rehabilitation.
• Evaluate and manage routine postoperative concerns within scope of practice.
• Assist in optimizing clinic flow and improving patient access with independent visits.
