Job summary

Omm IT Solutions is seeking a Coding Specialist (Multi-Specialty) for Linthicum Heights, MD. Under direct supervision, you will code orthopedic professional services and hospital E/Ms, ensuring accurate CPT and ICD-10-CM/PCS codes per guidelines and payer rules.

The role requires 2+ years of inpatient hospital coding, strong ICD-10-CM/PCS proficiency, and ability to meet productivity targets. Equipment must be provided by the candidate; interviews are conducted virtually.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inpatient hospital coding.
• Strong proficiency in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS.
• Ability to meet productivity and quality standards in a production coding environment.
• Candidates must have their own equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze physician documentation to assign CPT and ICD-10-CM/PCS codes for professional services.
• Code orthopedic provider services, including office visits, hospital E/Ms, and surgical procedures, ensuring payer/regulatory compliance.
• Support multi-specialty professional fee coding across service lines.
• Liaise between coding, billing and clinical teams to resolve questions in a timely manner.
• Ensure quality and timeliness of coded data to support reimbursement and compliance.
