Job summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics in Johns Creek is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray equipment and assist radiologists in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions. You will ensure high-quality diagnostic images and smooth patient flow within the clinic.

The role requires 1–2 years of orthopedic radiology experience and a valid RT(R) certificate/license; strong patient care and computer skills are essential, with strict adherence to HIPAA/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state X-Ray Technology license or certificate.
• RT(R) certification required.
• 1–2 years orthopedic radiology experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking and decisive judgement.
• Excellent patient care and computer skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician.
• Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards.
• Takes X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Selects proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis; adjusts controls.
• Create digital radiological images and check for clarity.
• Upload and manage X-Rays and maintain records.
• Perform QA checks to ensure unit meets standards.
• Maintain radiographic supplies and equipment.
• Assist in delivering orthopedic patient care and improve patient experience.
