Job summary

Resurgens-Orthopaedics in Roswell, GA is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray equipment, assist radiologists, and support orthopedic care with high-quality imaging and patient flow.

You will perform procedures as prescribed, protect patients from radiation hazards, maintain records, ensure safety, and cooperate with the team to deliver excellent patient experiences in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license.
• RT(R) – required.
• 1-2 years of prior orthopedic radiology experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement.
• Excellent patient care and computer skills.
• Knowledge of EHR system.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures as well as treatment modalities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to maintain quality control standards.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician.
• Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards.
• Takes X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Creates digital radiological image and uploads X-Rays.
• Maintains required records including patient records, daily log books, and monthly reports.
