Qualifications

• Must hold current state X-Ray Technology certificate or license.
• RT(R) certification required.
• 1-2 years of orthopedic radiology experience preferred.

• Knowledge of EHR system.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician.
• Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation hazards.
• Takes X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Creates digital radiological images and checks for clarity.
• Uploads and manages X-Rays.
• Maintains patient records, daily log books, and monthly reports.
• Controls quality and safety checks for the X-Ray unit.
• Maintains radiographic supplies and equipment.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assists physicians in orthopedic patient care management.
• Determines proper technique and exposure settings.
• Completes x-ray requests for billing.
