Job summary

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Canton, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in the outpatient clinic setting in a PRN role. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking histories, documenting in EMR, preparing injections, front desk calls, and assisting with procedures including casts and DME.

Requirements include graduation from a recognized Medical Assistant program, 1–2 years of experience preferred, and current MA certification within 6 months of hire

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current Certification as a Medical Assistant required within 6 months of hire. Preferred associations: CMA/AMT/CCMA. BLS required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Providers in the outpatient clinic setting, including maintenance of equipment, supplies, and exam rooms.
• Rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, documenting in EMR, preparing injections, handling front desk calls, assisting with procedures and DME.
• Assist with special procedures, gather equipment, position patient, and follow physician instructions.
