The Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (Orthopaedic Surgery) to join our ambulatory clinic team at White Marsh. You will support clinical tasks under physician supervision, perform patient intakes, record vitals, and prepare exam rooms to ensure efficient patient flow.

Ideal candidates hold CMA certification, completed an accredited MA program, CPR certification, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork while maintaining high standards of patient safety

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant within 180 days of hire.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience using EPIC preferred.
• Additional education may substitute for required experience per JHU policy.

Responsabilités

• Collects patient information at intake.
• Records vital signs in EPIC and reports abnormalities.
• Assist patients to exam rooms and prepare for examination.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection control.
• Order, stock, and maintain exam rooms and clinic areas.
• Identify and manage emergency situations per guidelines.
• Occasional coverage of other JHU Ortho/PMR/MSK locations.
