Job summary

OrthoCarolina Mooresville is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant to support orthopedic patient care. You will perform routine office procedures, assist with exams, manage triage and patient education, and coordinate with physicians and staff.

The role emphasizes accurate EMR documentation (Epic), strong communication, and teamwork. Workweek Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with opportunities to contribute to a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing.
• CMA/RMA must be registered/certified; EMT certification is accepted.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Epic EMR access and use.

Responsibilities

• Update clinical notes in EMR and verify patient information.
• Perform phone triage and gather pertinent facts for status.
• Assist with casting/bracing and in-office procedures.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
