Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Anderson Mill location in Austin, TX. The role supports orthopedic care under supervision, rooms patients, collects vital signs, and assists with exams and procedures in a busy clinic setting.

You will educate patients, maintain sterile techniques, and help coordinate diagnostic testing and transport as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, and graduate MA programs or related healthcare training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Medical Assistant or in orthopedic/podiatry setting preferred.
• Graduate of medical assistant program or CNA/EMT/PCT with direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients, documents vital signs, and prepares for provider exam.
• Provides patient education when instructed by physician.
• Sets up equipment and assists with procedures in the clinic.
• Maintains sterile techniques and aids in patient flow.
• Works with scheduling and transportation of patients as needed.
• Work schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
