Qualifications

• Minimum Required Experience: ability to multi-task, good organization skills, and effective communication.
• Preferred Experience: 1-2 years in a clinic setting.
• Minimum Required Education: Completion of accredited Vocational/Technical Nursing Program.
• Minimum Required Licenses: Unencumbered active Kansas nursing license.
• Minimum Required Certifications: BLS

Responsibilities

• Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients.
• Gather pertinent health data through physical assessments and samples.
• Prepare and administer injections and vaccinations, and perform EKGs.
• Perform CLIA waived lab testing and point-of-care testing.
• Document assessments, interventions, medications dispensed, and test results in the medical record.
• Assist other health care professionals in exams and minor procedures.
• Coordinate care, referrals, and follow-up testing with providers.
