Job summary

Jonesboro Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support physicians in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic. You will assist with patient visits, triage calls, and prepare exam rooms for procedures while maintaining accurate documentation and patient education.

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of a School of Practical Nursing with current Arkansas LPN licensure and a high school diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physicians during clinic visits and patient examinations.
• Answering and triaging patient phone calls.
• Fulfilling physician verbal orders accurately and efficiently.
• Completing and maintaining clinical paperwork and documentation.
• Applying and removing casts and braces.
• Preparing patients and exam rooms for in-office procedures.
• Performing phlebotomy and collecting laboratory specimens as needed.
• Coding diagnoses and assisting with clinical charting.
• Providing patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.
• Assisting with other clinical duties as assigned.
• Previous orthopedic experience preferred, but not required.
