Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, certification in Orthopedic Tech and AHA Heartsaver, and at least one year of related experience; pediatric/orthopedic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), may include specialized or vocational courses.
• LICENSURE - Preferr ed
• EXPERIENCE - 1 year
• EXPERIENCE - Preferred orthopedic/pediatric
• AHA Heartsaver
• Orthopedic Technician certification

Responsibilities

• Apply casts and splints safely and ensure proper immobilization.
• Monitor neurovascular status before and after cast application.
• Maintain infection control and safety procedures.
• Report abnormal findings to supervising clinicians promptly.
