OrthoArkansas is seeking a Charge Entry Specialist to support accurate and timely billing by entering office, imaging, and other charges into patient accounts. You will ensure entries are complete, maintain documentation, and flag issues before they impact reimbursement.

You will collaborate with providers and coding staff to maintain charge-entry accuracy, adhere to HIPAA, and support Revenue Cycle operations with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7 to 11 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, diagnoses, and procedure codes required.
• Experience with medical terminology and healthcare billing processes preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Enter all clinic charges for assigned providers accurately and timely.
• Review charges for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Maintain the Charge Entry ticket folder and spreadsheet for providers.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Review and work front-end denials and correct charge-entry issues to prevent delays.
