Job summary

The-Bone- in Bismarck, ND is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to support a surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstruction. The Orthopaedic ATC provides care using the nursing process and collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You will assist in the operating room, travel to satellite clinics, assess patients, educate them, triage, and coordinate care with therapy and radiology teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited ATC program
• ND licensed ATC
• Orthopaedic or Operating Room experience preferred but not required
• Ability to effectively communicate with other medical providers and ancillary personnel
• Proficient with basic office equipment

Responsibilities

• Obtains, verifies, and records health history of patients
• Fulfills patient care responsibilities including scheduling and patient flow
• Assists in operating room procedures and setup
• Coordinate patient care with therapy, radiology, and clinic staff
• Educates patients and provides follow-up care guidance
• Assists with patient triage and care coordination
