Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be certified as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification and be licensed and/or registered in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, instruct, and monitor athletic training programs to prevent injuries and restore function.
• Document and interpret information from medical records, physicians, and families; update treatment plans.
• May perform concussion testing and oversee safety rules for daily training and equipment use.
