Job description

Orthopedic Associate Sales Representative

The Sales Representative is responsible for achieving sales goals within their territory, building and maintaining customer relationships through communication and in-person visits. The role involves consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory by working with surgeons and healthcare professionals, promoting Arthrex products.
  2. Build and maintain strong business relationships, develop sales strategies, and implement effective marketing plans.
  3. Communicate with current and new customers about product updates, changes, and educational programs.
  4. Manage new product introductions and cross-sell additional products.
  5. Address any account issues and support compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  6. Participate in coaching, training, and industry meetings as needed.
  7. Maintain training in sales skills, product features, and industry trends.
  8. Collect competitive data and stay current on industry developments.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of orthopedic or related experience; sports experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to relate to customers in the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
  • Comfortable in open operating room environments.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
  • Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Training:

  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to develop effective business plans.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, and independent decision-making.
  • Adherence to compliance and ethical standards.

Tools and Equipment:

  • Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
