Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to float across a busy orthopedic practice in Concord, NC. The APP will manage a personal clinic schedule, assist in the OR, and participate in call rotations.

Requirements include an accredited PA program, NC licensure, DEA license, NCCPA certification, and prior orthopedic APP experience. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Valid North Carolina licensure (or eligible).
• DEA license (or eligible).
• Prior APP orthopedic experience is required.
• NCCPA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Function as an independent APP provider with your own clinic schedule.
• Serve as First Assist in the Operating Room.
• Participate in an office call rotation.
• Perform inpatient rounding as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians across multiple specialties including: Shoulder, Hand, Hip, Knee.
