The Orthopedics Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) at Jefferson Northeast (Per Diem) provides hospital-based assessment, orders tests, and assists in surgery under orthopedic surgeons. The role supports care across inpatient and perioperative settings with rotating on-call duties at a Level II Trauma Center.

Candidates must hold a master’s degree, active PA license or NP ACNP with RNFA, a PA program grad, BLS, and DEA license; prior orthopedic trauma experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree from an accredited program.
• National Board Certification as Acute Care NP with RNFA or PA certification.
• Active Pennsylvania State License and DEA license.
• Current BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive histories and physical exams and document findings.
• Evaluate orthopaedic patients and develop individualized treatment plans under supervision.
• Order, perform, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Assist Orthopedic Surgeons intraoperatively and provide perioperative care.
• Provide on‑call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center.
