Job summary

CHI Health, in association with Creighton University Medical Center, is seeking an Orthopaedic Trauma Physician to join its ACS Level I Trauma Surgery program. The role involves clinical, surgical, research, and educational activities in collaboration with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.

The successful candidate will be ABOS eligible or certified, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, education, and advancing trauma care within a major academic center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Active or eligible license in Nebraska.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care to adults and families.

Responsibilities

• Educate Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health in an academic teaching environment.
• Collaborate with a multi-surgeon team within a Level I Trauma program.
• Provide orthopedic trauma care with ABOS eligibility/certification requirements.
• Engage in research and education initiatives with Creighton University School of Medicine.
