Job summary

CHI Health in Omaha, NE is seeking an academic Neurosurgeon to provide comprehensive general and trauma neurosurgery services. You will join a team affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine and work with learners, residents, and fellows in a collaborative neuroscience institute.

The role requires board eligibility or board certification in Neurosurgery, with licensure in Nebraska, plus DEA and BLS.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board eligible/board certified in Neurosurgery.
• Ability to obtain Nebraska licensure.
• DEA certification required.
• Basic life support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general and trauma neurosurgery services.
• Collaborate with learners, residents, and fellows from Creighton University School of Medicine.
• Assume primary and backup call shifts and inpatient care at CUMC Bergan Mercy Hospital.
• Cover outpatient clinic when on backup call.
