Atrium Health Navicent Orthopaedic Trauma seeks a physician assistant for a full-time, night-shift role in a busy Level I Trauma Center in Georgia. You will work with fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeons and a collaborative team to deliver patient-centered care and comprehensive trauma management.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. The role emphasizes autonomy with structured education, extensive procedural training, and no on-call requirements beyond scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification required; Georgia license eligible or current.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtained per guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and manage orthopaedic trauma patients in the inpatient setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Respond to orthopaedic trauma consults during overnight hours.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other team members.
• Document encounters and participate in quality improvement activities.
