Position Overview

Join the team of Advanced Practice Providers at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center/West Valley in Glendale, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work with highly trained Orthopedic Surgeons, providing care to patients with Orthopedic Spine surgical needs. The APP will conduct inpatient rounds and see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well within a team.

Requirements

• Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in AZ
• Current prescribing privileges, including DEA license for controlled substances
• 3–4 years' experience in Orthopedic Spine preferred; candidates with General/Ortho experience will also be considered
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications

Practice Details

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
• Inpatient and outpatient roles (non-operative; no first-assist responsibilities)
• No practice call; potential hospital call (1 weekend/month)
