Job summary

Oregon Medical Group, part of the Optum family, seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our Eugene, Oregon team. You will work in a turnkey practice with an immediate referral base, supported by a dedicated staff and onsite imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI).

The role offers collaboration within a multi-provider group and opportunities for professional growth within Optum's Care Delivery network. Compensation for this specialty ranges from $430,000 to $887,500 with base pay plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent; Residency completed in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Unrestricted OR Physician License or ability to obtain.
• Current OR DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Current BLS certification required.
• BE/BC Orthopedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Join a turnkey orthopedic practice with an immediate referral base.
• Collaborate with a team including PAs, physicians, podiatrists and support staff.
• Leverage onsite imaging (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI) to support patient care.

• Position Highlights:
• Turnkey Orthopedic Practice: Fully established system with immediate referral base
• Team & Support:
• 3 experienced orthopedic PAs (flexible in terms of role/responsibility- can assist in-clinic, pre-op, intra-op, post-op and more)
• 1 Sport Medicine (FM) Physician integrated into practice
• 3 podiatrists (1 non-surgical and 2 surgical)
• Dedicated support staff (MAs, Athletic Trainer, Cast Techs, Office Manager)
• Onsite Imaging: Immediate X-Ray along with ultrasound, CT and MRI
• Clinic Hours- 8:00AM to 5:00PM; OR Hours- 7:30AM to 4:30PM
• Collaborative and close-knit department culture

Qualifications - External

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent. Residency completed in Orthopedic Surgery.

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $430,000 - $887,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
