Qualifications

• MD or DO or MD/PhD in health-related fields.
• California medical license or equivalent certification/permit.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• California Fluoroscopy License.
• Spine Surgery fellowship completed by start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform degenerative to high-level complex spine surgeries, including reconstructions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide comprehensive spine care.
• Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways and guidelines for spine surgery.
• Actively participate in the American Spine Registry and quality improvement activities.
• Collect and analyze data on infection rates, neurological deficits, and patient-reported outcomes.
• Mentor residents and fellows; contribute to research and publication in spine surgery.
• Engage in clinical trials and basic science research to advance spine surgery.

Education

MD or DO or MD/PhD in health-related fields

California medical license or equivalent certification/permit
