Qualifications

MD or DO or MD/PhD in health-related fields.
California medical license or equivalent certification/permit.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
California Fluoroscopy License.
Spine Surgery fellowship completed by start date.

Responsibilities

Perform degenerative to high-level complex spine surgeries, including reconstructions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide comprehensive spine care.
Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways and guidelines for spine surgery.
Actively participate in the American Spine Registry and quality improvement activities.
Collect and analyze data on infection rates, neurological deficits, and patient-reported outcomes.
Mentor residents and fellows; contribute to research and publication in spine surgery.
Engage in clinical trials and basic science research to advance spine surgery.
