Job summary

Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is expanding its orthopaedic practice by adding a Physician Assistant to support surgeons and deliver comprehensive patient care across multiple clinics. The PA will conduct histories, exams, order imaging, develop treatment plans, and assist in surgical settings.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PA program with orthopaedic experience, current licensure, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; orthopaedic practice experience preferred.
• Current and active licenses and certifications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational detail.
• Exceptional customer service and conflict management skills.
• Operating room experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (x-rays, MRIs, CTs) and document results.
• Establish diagnoses, determine treatment plans, and coordinate follow-up care.
• Collaborate with TOA surgeons to evaluate and treat patients in the clinic and OR.
• Assist in surgeries and in applying orthopaedic devices and braces.
