Job summary

The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics LL in Baltimore, MD is seeking a team-oriented Medical Assistant for a full-time weekend schedule (Friday–Monday). You will support doctors during exams, assist with procedures, and help maintain patient flow in a busy orthopaedic practice.

Responsibilities include patient preparation, history collection, injections, sterilization, and EMR communication. One year of MA experience and strong communication skills are required, with orthopaedic exposure

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Supports efficient patient flow in and around clinical areas.
• Assists patients in preparation for exams and procedures; notes chief complaint and history.
• Records planned medical procedures and assists during clinic visits.
• Prepares injections and sterilizes equipment; maintains room readiness.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and supports staff under supervision.
