Job summary

The Bone & Joint Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to evaluate orthopaedic patients and develop comprehensive care plans in a busy clinic in North Dakota.

Responsibilities include H&P exams, ordering/interpreting radiology and labs, assisting surgeons, injections, casts, and patient education, with thorough documentation. ND license, BLS, and DEA required; orthopedic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Unencumbered licensure/credentials for North Dakota.
• BLS Certification required; DEA required.
• Orthopaedic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of orthopaedic anatomy and terminology.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
• Order radiologic studies and laboratory tests; interpret results.
• Assist orthopaedic surgeons during procedures.
• Provide injections, wound care, casts/splints, and bracing as needed.
• Document medical records thoroughly and timely.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and devices.
