Job summary

The Bone & Joint Center in Dickinson, ND seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to evaluate patients and develop comprehensive orthopaedic care plans. The APP will provide rapid access to musculoskeletal care, collaborate with physicians, and support the clinic and satellite sites as needed.

Responsibilities include performing exams, ordering tests, and assisting surgeons during procedures while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required.
• Unencumbered licensure and credentials for the state of North Dakota.
• BLS Certification Required; DEA Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopaedic assessment and treatment plans.
• Perform history and physical exams, order radiologic studies and labs as needed.
• Assist orthopedic surgeons during procedures and provide direct patient care (casts, injections, wound care).
• Maintain thorough medical records and adhere to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care and educate patients on braces, splints, and DME.
