You will design and manage treatment plans with braces and clear aligners, collaborate with specialists, and provide exceptional patient care while maintaining thorough records and staying current with industry advancements.

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility preferred.
  • Active South Carolina dental license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Proficiency with digital orthodontic tools and imaging technology.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and develop customized treatment plans for patients with dental and jaw alignment issues.
  • Design and implement treatment plans using braces and clear aligners systems.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust appliances, and ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists as needed.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, procedures, hygiene, and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient records using digital practice management systems.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthodontics and participate in continuing education.
  • Follow all applicable dental regulations, infection-control protocols, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Requirements

  • Responsible for providing and delivering quality dental care to our patients.
  • Create orthodontic dental treatment plans.
