Job summary

Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our busy practice in Florida. You will support licensed dentists, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Applicants should have orthodontic assisting experience; pediatric experience is preferred but training is provided. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Position Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

What We're Looking For:

• Orthodontic Dental Assistant experience is required.
• Pediatric Dental Assistant experience is preferred but not required - we are happy to provide training.

Requirements:

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
