Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic practice. We’re an energetic team focused on delivering excellent patient care and smooth daily operations.

In this role you’ll assist dentists, prep rooms and instruments, educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, manage scheduling, maintain accurate patient records, and help sustain a clean, organized environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care

• Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements:

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Upon hiring, you are required to furnish evidence of X-ray training certification. If you do not possess certification at the time of hiring, you are granted an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays)
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
