Job summary

Bernsteinbraces is seeking a Records Technician to enhance patient care by greeting new patients and maintaining compliant patient records. Responsibilities include clinical support, fabricating removable appliances under supervision, managing impressions and scans, and assisting with sterilization and inventory.

The role requires strong patient interaction, teamwork, and attention to detail in a dental practice setting, with travel to SB locations as needed.

• Maintain HIPAA/OSHA compliance in daily duties.
• Maintain a neat and orderly office and lab area.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all new patients into the practice.
• Interact positively with patients at all times.
• Maintain a neat and orderly office and lab area.
• Fabricate removable appliances under the direction of the office manager.
• Assist in evaluating fit aesthetics as needed.
• Learn to deliver retainers, perform retainer checks, and take impressions to assist the clinic when available.
• Pour impressions for study models.
• Learn to take intra-oral scans for touch-up and retainer programs.
• Assist with sterilization and restocking of instruments.
• Be available on non-doctor days for patient care.
• Record management and handling patient information per HIPAA regulations.
• Take patient photographs, panoramic, cephalometric x-rays and upload to chart.
