Children's Dental Center of New Hampshire in Amherst, NH is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our clinical team with high-quality patient care in a team-based environment.

The ideal candidate has prior dental assisting experience; X-ray certification preferred. Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists, taking X-rays, and educating patients. This part-time role offers benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Competenze

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or 1 year of experience.
• X-Ray certification preferred.
• Certified Orthodontic Assistant preferred.
• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Clinical support: prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient care: welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & diagnostics: take/develop X-rays, assist with impressions, maintain study models.
• Compliance & safety: follow infection control, patient confidentiality, workplace rules.
• Maintain records: scheduling and patient intake as needed.
• Assist in emergencies: CPR certified, manage emergency drugs/oxygen and directory.
