Job summary

Ideal Dental is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support our orthodontic team and patients. You’ll assist with procedures, take impressions, x-rays, and help ensure a smooth clinical experience in a fast-growing practice.

You will travel within assigned areas, maintain accurate records, educate patients on post-treatment care, and contribute to delivering high-quality specialty care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant license required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year orthodontic experience.
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for patients during visits.
• Assist Orthodontist with procedures and patient progress.
• Unknot and tie arch-wires; assist with bonding prep.
• Take impressions and assist with imaging/photography.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and hygiene.
• Coordinate care and follow-ups for timely treatment.
• Maintain detailed records for continuity of care.
• Support inventory and clinic readiness.
