Job summary

Shadow Mountain Smiles Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE). You will prepare patients for examinations, assist with procedures, sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory while coordinating with front desk and other team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; state-mandated certification/licensure as required.
• Specialty dental assistants may travel to multiple offices for coverage; required travel and valid transport.
• One-year certificate or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness per guidelines.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk to ensure smooth schedules.
• Record patient charting and clinician notes in the digital system.
• Convey treatment records, consents and health history to clinicians.
