Schedule for the Orthodontic Dental Assistant:
Monday: 11:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Orthodontic Dental Assistant:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in orthodontic assisting
Proficiency with OrthoTrac software is a plus
Familiarity with iTero scanning and Invisalign processes
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and sterilization procedures
Strong communication skills and ability to explain dental terminology
Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during a variety of procedures, including wire changes, bonding, and debonding
Perform iTero scans and maintain digital records
Take orthodontic records, including x-rays, impressions, and photos
Communicate clearly and effectively with patients about procedures and treatment plans
Support the team with general clinical duties and patient care
Maintain a clean and organized operatory environment
