The best part? We believe in hands-on, on-the-job training! We’ll help you develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge you need to succeed in orthodontics. You’ll have the opportunity to learn new technology, master clinical procedures, and become an important part of a team that works together to create beautiful, healthy smiles.

If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, learning new things, and being part of a positive, team-oriented environment, we’d love to meet you!

What Makes This Opportunity Exciting?

  • Hands-on, on-the-job training: Learn our clinical systems, orthodontic procedures, equipment, and workflows with guidance and support.

  • Room to grow: Develop valuable clinical skills and gain confidence as you learn.

  • Cutting-edge technology: Build your knowledge of digital orthodontics, including iTero scanning and EasyRx lab case management.

  • Meaningful patient connections: Help patients feel comfortable, understand their treatment, and feel confident about their smiles.

  • Teamwork that matters: Work alongside an orthodontist and a supportive team that values communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Patient Care & Clinical Assistance

  • Welcome and seat patients, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.

  • Review and update patient health histories as needed and promptly communicate any changes to the orthodontist.

  • Ensure the treatment room, instruments, materials, and equipment are completely prepared before the orthodontist enters the room.

  • Assist chairside with a wide variety of orthodontic procedures.

  • Take X-rays in accordance with applicable training, authorization, and safety requirements.

  • Provide patient education about orthodontic procedures, appliances, and treatment expectations.

  • Perform select tasks independently with patients as trained, authorized, and appropriate to the role.

  • Complete accurate clinical notes in each patient’s WAVE chart every day.

Digital Technology & Orthodontic Lab Work

  • Develop effective knowledge and proficiency with the iTero scanner, working toward completing patient scans in under seven minutes while maintaining quality and accuracy.

  • Take impressions, pour up models, and complete assigned laboratory work.

  • Verify that all lab cases have arrived and accurately log them into EasyRx.

  • Fabricate retainers and trim them appropriately according to established protocols and training.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant laboratory area.

Room Preparation, Sterilization & Organization

  • Clean, disinfect, and set up treatment rooms between patients.

  • Sterilize instruments and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the sterilization area.

  • Maintain equipment through appropriate cleaning, routine upkeep, and reporting of maintenance needs.

  • Keep supply ordering lists current, identify items that need replenishing, put away deliveries, and stock treatment rooms.

  • Help ensure clinical areas remain clean, organized, properly supplied, and ready for patient care.

Teamwork, Communication & Accountability

  • Maintain open, proactive communication with the orthodontist and the entire team.

  • Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and office procedures.

  • Take ownership of goals, responsibilities, and personal development.

  • Stay flexible and assist with additional responsibilities as needed to support the success of the practice.

Training & Development: We’ll Help You Succeed!

You do not have to walk in knowing everything! We’re excited to help the right person learn, develop, and thrive.

  • Ongoing feedback, teamwork, and opportunities to strengthen your skills.

We’re looking for someone who is teachable, curious, dependable, and excited to improve. Experience is valuable, but a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn are just as important.
