Job summary

Smile Orthodontics is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to join a patient-centered team. You will deliver exceptional clinical care, support doctors during exams and procedures, and help maintain accurate records and a high standard of infection control.

We value a positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to ongoing learning and growth in orthodontics. Candidates without prior orthodontic experience are welcome to apply and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willing to learn and grow in orthodontics.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding clinical care and create a welcoming experience for our Patients.
• Assist Doctors with exams, procedures, and treatment appointments.
• Take digital scans, X-rays, photographs, and other records.
• Assist with placing and removing orthodontic appliances, brackets, wires, and other components.
• Educate Patients and families on orthodontic treatment, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
• Provide clear instructions and encouragement throughout the patient’s orthodontic journey.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared clinical environment.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and clinical protocols.
• Work closely with Doctors and clinical team to ensure appointments run smoothly.
• Support and encourage fellow Partners while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Continue developing clinical skills through training and CE.
