Job summary

Casa Smiles in Miami is seeking an experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant with an associate's degree or equivalent certification and prior ortho experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children and possess strong bilingual English/Spanish communication.

You will welcome patients, explain treatment plans, assist during procedures, maintain safety standards, and manage appointment scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or verified certification from an accredited school.
• Strong bilingual communication in English and Spanish is required.
• Excellent data entry and computer skills were demonstrated.
• Ability to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and prepare tools for exams and procedures.
• Assist the doctor during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups.
