Orthodontic Associates in Frederick, MD is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician III to join our growing team. The clinician will deliver a positive clinical experience, assist orthodontists, and manage patient flow including remote monitoring triage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II.
• Dental Assistant certification may be required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification may be required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Performs bonding, placing, and positioning of brackets with precision.
• Reviews patient charts and transcribes doctor notes accurately.
• Performs lab procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Leads patient flow and triages remote monitoring of patient scans.
• Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares equipment and operatory following protocols.
• Assists in local store marketing and community events.
