Job summary

Smile Doctors Georgetown is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing team. You’ll deliver high-quality clinical experiences to patients under the supervision of an Orthodontist, placing and removing appliances, taking records, and supporting patient flow.

You’ll educate patients, assist with remote monitoring, sterilize and prepare equipment, and participate in local store marketing and community events.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months as Smile Doctors Orthodontic Clinician.
• Dental Board certified if required by state.
• Radiography certification if required by state.
• CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist with placing and removing appliances.
• Take full records under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Maintain schedule and patient flow; review charts and notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision.
• Administer remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans.

Looking for a career that makes you smile?Smile Doctors in Georgetown is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician II to join our growing team.Responsible for delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.How you’ll make us better:Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records under supervision of the OrthodontistPerform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flowReview patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notesPerform laboratory procedures under supervision of an OrthodontistAssist the Point with performing final checks on patients and leading patient flowAdminister the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notificationsEducate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoringClean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocolsAssist in Local Store Marketing and community eventsAdhere to all infection-control policies and protocolsYour special skills:We’re proud of our company culture and heritage of awesomeness.
