Job summary

Northern Virginia Orthodontics in Ashburn, VA seeks an Orthodontic Clinician II to deliver a positive clinical experience under the direction of an Orthodontist. You will assist in placing and removing appliances, take full records, and help manage patient flow while following policies and state regulations.

You will clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment, support remote monitoring, and educate patients on care and monitoring.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year orthodontic experience or 6 months experience as Smile Doctors Orthodontic Clinician.
• Dental Board certification as required by state.
• CPR certification if required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances and taking full records under supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Perform accurate and efficient procedures to maintain the schedule and patient flow.
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Sterilize, clean, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Administer the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notifications.
• Educate the patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Assist in local store marketing and community events.
