Job summary

Smile Doctors Affiliate seeks an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our Salisbury/Easton MD team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience under orthodontist supervision and assist with appliances, charts, and remote monitoring.

You will educate patients on care, maintain infection-control standards, and support a collaborative, people-first culture within the Smile Doctors family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Dental/orthodontic industry experience is preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive clinical experience under close supervision by an Orthodontist.
• Assist with placing/removing appliances under supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under supervision.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory per protocols.
• Adhere to infection-control policies and protocols.
