Job summary

Smile Doctors is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our growing team. You will deliver positive clinical experiences while adhering to company policies and state dental laws under the supervision of an Orthodontist.

Key duties include appliance placement/removal, chart review, remote monitoring triage, patient education, and maintaining sterile operatory conditions. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification may be required by state boards.
• Radiography certification may be required by state boards.
• CPR certification may be required by state boards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responding to direct patient messages, and triage notifications.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols.
