Job summary

Smile Doctors is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our DeWitt/Lansing team in Michigan. You will deliver positive clinical experiences while following state laws under the Orthodontist's supervision.

Dental assisting experience is welcome, and training is provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities include placing and removing appliances, bonding brackets, reviewing charts, and supporting remote monitoring.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Dental assisting experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances and take full records under supervision.
• Bond, place, and position brackets precisely as directed by the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist.
• Lead patient flow and conduct final checks on patients.
• Manage remote monitoring dashboard, triage scans, and respond to patient messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring; assist in infection control.
