Smile Doctors in East Hartford, CT is hiring an Orthodontic Clinician I to provide a positive clinical experience under Orthodontist supervision. You will assist with placing and removing orthodontic appliances, review patient charts, and support care and remote monitoring while following infection-control protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma, dental/orthodontic exposure, and state certifications as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Ability to travel between office locations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard, triage patient scans, and respond to messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols.
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols.
