Smile Doctors Albany-Westgate is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician I to join our growing team. You will deliver positive clinical experiences while following company policies and state dental laws under the supervision of an Orthodontist.

Responsibilities include assisting in placing/removing appliances, reviewing charts, handling lab procedures, monitoring remote data, educating patients, and maintaining sterile operatory with strict infection-control adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic industry experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board.
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment and operatory; maintain infection-control policies.
