Frugé Orthodontics in Baton Rouge seeks an Orthodontic Clinician I to support orthodontic care under orthodontist supervision. You’ll assist with appliances, educate patients, and manage chart data while following strict clinical and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some dental/orthodontic experience preferred.
• Dental Assistant certification might be required by state Dental Board.
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board; CPR certification if required by state allowed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision.
• Review patient charts, log patient data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Perform laboratory procedures under close supervision of the Orthodontist.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans and messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Maintain infection-control policies and sterilize equipment.
• Keep operatory clean and organized.
